iPhone-less

I forgot my iPhone at home!

Horrors!

Tragedy!

Listlessness!

Now that I am fully dependent on it, I feel like a limb has been cut off.  How am I going to text?  How am I going to update my Facebook status with how much I hate waiting for the bus?

Terrible.

But at least it’s a short day at work.  Well, it’s supposed to be a short day but I’m not sure if it will actually end up being a short day.

For breakfast, I had some Overnight Oats!

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds

Mixed all together overnight and topped with:

  • Blueberries
  • Sliced banana
  • Homemade Greek yogurt (love!)
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp almond butter

It’s been a while since I’ve had almond butter.  Why do I do that to myself?

Well, it’s Friday!  The weekend couldn’t get here any sooner.  59 work days to go!

i have a real blog related question today!

so i have a reciepe to make something similar with oats for breakfast. i have been eating it the past two weeks…but only now think to ask you this – is it supposed to be eaten cold?

this one says to put oats, cinnamon, walnut pieces and raisons in a bowl with milk and let it sit overnight. in the am it says add apple pieces…but never to warm up? i think it tastes good, but i have always eaten oatmeal warm.

    Yay Friday!

I hear you about forgetting your phone. Even though I just have a Touch, I feel so lost without it! It follows me everywhere, especially at work. If I forgot it I would have a hard time doing my job, I use it so much for the calendar and address book apps, not to mention the calculator and unit conversation. I forgot my actual cell phone the other day, and I didn’t really miss it. I nearly tore up the apartment this morning because I couldn’t find my ipod (it was already in my bag, waiting to go). If only it had a camera function! (though no, no iphone for me, at least not for now, it just wouldn’t be useful to me because I would always be turning on and off the send and receive part of it, at least this way I can just turn off my cell with one button).

Totally random, one of the automatically generated possibly related posts above was this: Coca-Cola accused of using porn to attract children. Strange, huh?

How dependent we are on technology, eh? What would we do without apple products?

I love it! It’s incredible how much liquid is drained out of it and how much the volume decreased. I don’t think I can go back to non-drained yogurt!
