Hot stuff

How are you surviving this overwhelming heat?  In the middle of the night, I exercised my bourgeoisie right to turn UP the air conditioning.  It was glorious.  Therese, I hope you’re a/c is fixed asap!

Breakfast this morning was simple and cold:  a cereal mess!

  • 1 cup of Kashi Go Lean Crunch
  • 1/2 cup plain 0% fat yogurt
  • Handful of blueberries
  • 3 sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • 1 spoonful of my new nut butter

I have to say, the sweet peanut butter just made this breakfast!  I guess it’s been a long time since I’ve had sweetened pb and I forgot how EXCELLENT it is.

I wish I could blabber on more about the daily miscellany of life, but I’ve got work to do!  It’s looking like a busy day ahead of me, which of course just makes me fantasize about maternity leave.  How many months left again? 😉

Ha! I caved and turned it on even though I knew we’d have a huge pile of soaked blankets around the furnace! It has since been fixed! And your post reminds me that I need to get off my butt and get breakfast for myself! Thanks!

So glad it’s fixed! This heat is unrelenting. I am actually fantasizing about the fall. It’s too early to start fantasizing about the fall! 🙂

Eating well and living frugally does not always come easy, but Lord help me, I am trying! This blog will detail my endeavor to live the best life possible. This will include pictures of my cats, odes to almond butter, and the general miscellany that makes up my life. Enjoy!
