Cocoats

That is a really awkward, blended word that encapsulates what I had for breakfast this morning:  Cocoa Oats!  More specifically, “cocoa-infused Overnight Oats made with yogurt, milk, and chia seeds topped with a sliced banana, blueberries, and a spoonful of almond butter”.  Cocoats is more succinct!

I got the idea to add cocoa to oats from Callie.  She is one smart lady.  I was going for a pudding-effect, which is why I added the chia seeds for thickening purposes.

Before:

I love this colour.  It is almost as pretty as the colour of coffee with cream.

After:

I am almost out of almond butter.  Horrors.

Now I am drinking some Starbucks and waiting for the next four hours to fly by.  As I expected, the streets of Toronto are pretty deserted this morning.  I continue to love it.
