Breakfast is the most important meal of the day

Even though I was still full from dinner, I had a completely filling breakfast.  I am always wary to skimp on breakfast, or skip it entirely.  When the hunger beast rears its ugly head around 10 am, I am powerless!  I try to avoid all confrontations with the hunger beast.

Now, I am REALLY full (Talk to me in an hour, though).

This is another protein-packed breakfast.  It contains:

  • 1 cup of Kashi Go Lean Crunch
  • 1/2 cup of 0% Greek yogurt
  • Large handful of fresh blueberries
  • 4 sliced strawberries

It is a rainy, gloomy day here in Toronto.  It was one of those days you look out the window and wish, with all of your might, to spend the day on the couch with a big cup of coffee and a stack of magazines all the while wearing expandable pants!

Alas, it is not meant to be.

Your breakfast features four of my FAVORITE foods!! YUMM!!! 😀 (Try adding a sprinkle of cinnamon next time…I just started doing that and it’s the perfect touch!)

Heh I called in sick today…

But I also have a final exam on Friday so, technically, I will be curled up on the couch reading, just not fun reading…

And I LOVE your bowl!!! Where did you get it?!?!

As long as you have a cup of coffee or tea beside you, I will be jealous. That’s a guarantee 🙂

I received the bowl as a gift. It’s Japanese pottery and I love it too! I’ve found similar bowls at a store at Vaughn Mills but I bet you could also find some in Chinatown.

What happens when you love to eat healthy (and some unhealthy!) food, love to live frugally, and love to write? You start a food blog, of course. Of course!

Eating well and living frugally does not always come easy, but Lord help me, I am trying! This blog will detail my endeavor to live the best life possible. This will include pictures of my cats, odes to almond butter, and the general miscellany that makes up my life. Enjoy!
