Afternoon snacks

As it turns out, I can easily upload pictures of my food with the iPhone.  Schwing!  All I have to do is snap the picture, email it to myself, and then save it from my email onto my computer.  As Napoleon Dynamite’s brother so famously said:  I love technology (Oh yes, I still wield the Napoleon Dynamite references!).

For my afternoon snacks, I had an organic royal gala apple:

And some dried apricots.  Around 8 I would say.  I put the pen on the container to truly convey the fact I work in an office.  Also, for size comparison.  Also, because I am silly.

And a coworker gave me a lemon cookie, unpictured.  He said it was a low-fat, 50 calorie cookie, but I would have eaten it regardless.  A free cookie is a free cookie.  Let that be the first lesson I teach on this blog.

What happens when you love to eat healthy (and some unhealthy!) food, love to live frugally, and love to write? You start a food blog, of course. Of course!

Eating well and living frugally does not always come easy, but Lord help me, I am trying! This blog will detail my endeavor to live the best life possible. This will include pictures of my cats, odes to almond butter, and the general miscellany that makes up my life. Enjoy!
