The Fit
Like many young women I know, I wish I was more fit. I wish I ate my 1800 calories a day, worked out regularly, and had arms like Jillian.
(Also, I will take her abs, please!)
But I don’t. This is partly because I am growing a human body within my body. But this is mostly because I love to eat! I love to eat QUANTITY. Not only do I eat Kraft Dinner, I eat the whole box. Not only do I eat frozen pizzas, I eat them almost entirely (and if they are thin crust, I DEFINITELY eat them entirely). Afterward, I sit in a vegetative state in front of the TV and watch reality television shows about…losing weight. Ummmm.
Because I am always so curious about stats, here are mine:
Weight: 180 pounds (as of January 2011)
Height: 5′ 8.5″ (That half inch is incredibly important)
At my highest, I weighed 207 pounds when I was 12 years old. At my lowest, I was 159 pounds about a year ago.
Right now, my goal is to lose 15 pounds which puts me just a bit under my starting weight when I was pregnant. Really, though, my focus is to maintain a healthy eating and fitness schedule. The number on the scale should not be an objective (this is helped by not owning a scale; this is hindered by only wearing pants with elasticized waist bands!). I want to be healthy and fit without spending loads of money on gym memberships or fancy workout gear. I want to walk, stretch, and tone inexpensively. This will be my place to document my efforts!
I have a feeling that Jillian would support this plan.
